2-3 min sketches of female figures.

For those whom don't understand this kind of thing, let me explain. When you study animation (like I did) you need to have your skills very sharp, and the way you can tell is by looking at the life drawing sketches. The ones that matter the most are the quick gestures. I can tell just by looking at someone's life sketches how good their skills are, and how often they do it, or get a feel for their technique, and so on...

I wish I was at this skill level currently.

I did have these published here about 2 years ago... but, they're myseriously vannished, allong with allot of various sketches of mine....

My biggest gripe about life drawing classes were that the models were usually female. I was already good at female figures, and find males more difficult (not that I can't do it or anything) whcih is what would've helped me out allot more. Everyone agread with me, including my teacher. But, no matter how many times we repeated ourselves about requsting male mdels, we'de still get stuck w/females for over a year.

The other gripe I had about models was that I wanted better poses. I HATE when they just stand there! What is that???? I don't want 15 sketches of the same damned simple pose! Make a story with the pose, or be expressive!

And, finally, I'd rather various types of model body types. That helps me. If everyone looks like an emaciated fashion model that doesn't help my ability. Human beings come in all shapes and sizes. Give me variety. Give me science. NOt some warped ideal...
