A Blue Qilin
"Lan Qilin"
Another PROFILE view drawing.
Original Sketch drawn in 2003: [link]
I stayed away from purple as much as I could. Tho' I wanted some slight purples in there, the only true purple's I used were in the main as a dark violet, and the rim scales.
The majority of it is oranges and blues... also yellows and grays...
The only true white is in some of the highlits of the scales, and the eye.
I REALLY wanted to paint him golden! But, Tht's so common, and I already did a green Qilin.
So, I did a blue one.
