An Old drawing [link] which isn't all that good...

But, I'm in the mood to paint or play with colors...

It was originally based on some old 1970's Chinese comics from the Epic Classic "3 Kingdoms" (San Guo Yin). Only this isn't actually that charecter...


I was just playing with drawing males... and some how he ended up looking very Southern Chinese.

But, the artwork I refrenced was Northern ethnick looking Chinese.


I really didn't want to do his clothing in blue... but, it just somehow worked better that way.

I used a filter on the back ground and super imposed it over the unfiltered BG.


It's only about afew hours worth of work... I wish I didn't spend that long, since I just wanted it to be simple... but some stuff needed to be worked out... But, i didn't want it to be all detailed. You wanna kill me? PLease don't.


Anyways, I like the idea of the Ancient refined Scholar gentlemen. Highly educated with very refined manners and self conduct.

Altho' his clothes might actually be a doctor's clothing... that's education tho'...
