:star: My Character: "Lively" Here you will find mostly my character "Lively", or figures whom tend to turn out looking like her. I'm often told she looks like me. Don't know why that is, but most artists' drawings look like themselves anyways. I'd been drawing a human female since I was in middle school, whom tended to reflect the values or trends which I liked. She's usually a brunet (like me) or a raven haired (black) woman. I also get comments that she looks like Pocahontas (even tho she clearly doesn't to a trained eye like me) and I also get remarks that she looks like a Disney character. However, she just doesn't have the forehead or large eyes to be one, even if that's how you see it. Sometimes, people give me remarks that she looks like she has Asian eyes. No! Seriously! I have no idea why they would see that, since she's not Asian. To be bluntly honest, when I was a teenager, i was obsessed with marvel Comics, especially anything X-Men or Excalibur. I was also a HUGE Walt Disney animated film fan! Plus, I studied fine art back then. So, you will notice there's a combination of American Comics, Disney, realism, stylism, and even manga/anime in there. I always get comments that my cartoons are to realistic or detailed, or that my realism is too cartoonish. Either way I like to play with my art. I hate being confined into 1 way of thinking and doing things. Lively has aged with me through the years, and has changed shapes and sizes. She has no wrong way to do her hair, so long at it isn't short, and especially NOT BLOND! Generally, I would say Lively is a friendly and expressive person. She's vivacious, passionate, and I would imagine her as the type of person everyone would want to be friends with because she would never judge them for anything. And, in some ways, she's really too pure, even tho' she can be a little sassy with her femininity. She is supposed to embody all the things I like about a woman, and nothing I dislike, even tho' I have put her through all kinds of things in the stories I've written of her, and I've written several, either by hand, or typed and published here. Also, I just really like pretty ladies, and pretty things.
